About

Nikki attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC for cartooning. While she respects what she gained there, she very quickly became dissatisfied with the “flatness” of that medium. She looked for ways to pursue her true passion of puppetry. Nikki found herself as an intern on a Petrushka, a puppet show by a well-known puppeteer, Basil Twist. Nikki built puppets for several of Basil's shows throughout the 2000's, including Broadway shows; The Addam's Family; The Pee Wee Herman Show and Beauty and the Beast.

In 2009, Nikki moved to New York to become a Visual Merchandiser with H&M. She had spent six years working all over Manhattan, creating window displays, styling mannequins and participating in designer events such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

In 2013 Nikki began working with her newest love, Leather. After being unable to find the designs she wanted, Nikki decided she would just make her own. Her designs continue to grow from everyday fashion into more sculptural, couture pieces.

In September 2015 Nikki left New York to focus on her own unique brand of Art. Today she is creating custom puppets and leather fashion as well as building her own creations.
